Most lessons end when you walk away. Mine don't.
Online golf coaching built around your swing. A custom practice plan, daily video check-ins, and a PGA coach watching your reps from wherever you already practice. In-person golf lessons available at Elgin Country Club.
Mark Spitzer, PGA. Founder and Director of Instruction, Elgin Country Club.
Online golf lessons that don't end when the hour does
You have taken a lesson before. This is not that. The reason most golfers stop improving isn't bad information, it's that nobody is watching after the hour is over.
The lesson you're used to
- You pay for an hour and you get an hour.
- You leave with three or four things to remember.
- Whether you practice, and how, is entirely on you.
- Nobody sees the reps you put in that week.
- You come back a month later with the same miss.
Coaching with me
- You get a written practice plan built around your swing, not a generic drill list.
- A video from me walking you through exactly what your routine should look like.
- You film yourself doing the routine and send it in. Most days, that takes ten minutes.
- I watch what you send and give you feedback on it, so mistakes get caught in days instead of months.
- The plan changes as your swing changes.
The 30-Day Swing Transformation
Thirty days of structure, feedback and accountability. Roughly thirty touchpoints with your coach, for less than seven in-person lessons would cost you.
Runs as a small group with set start dates, so you're going through it alongside other golfers.
- A full swing analysis and priority listI break down your swing and tell you the one thing to fix first, and why.
- Four personalized coaching videosOne at the start of each week, so you always know exactly what to do next.
- Daily check-ins with direct feedbackYou send the reps, I review them and adjust as we go.
- Handpicked training aids, shipped to youChosen to match your swing, not a generic starter kit.
- A custom PDF roadmapYour practice structure in writing, so it doesn't live in your head.
- Final swing comparison and game planSee what changed and leave knowing what comes next.
My 30-day progress promise
There is no version of this program where you do the work and stay the same. Commit, follow the plan, send the videos, and if we haven't clearly moved the needle in thirty days, I'll keep coaching you at no additional cost until we do.
Not ready for thirty days?
Two smaller ways in. Both give you a real plan built for your swing.
Personalized Practice Blueprint
For the golfer who practices but isn't sure what to practice.
- Full swing analysis with your priority areas
- A practice routine built around what your swing needs most
- A custom video showing exactly how the routine should look
- PDF roadmap you keep and work from on your own
14-Day Swing Transformation
Two weeks of coaching, feedback and accountability.
- Everything in the Blueprint
- Two personalized coaching videos, one each week
- Daily check-ins reviewed by me
- End-of-program progress review and what to do next
Send me your swing. I'll tell you what I see.
No cost and no obligation. Upload a video and I'll come back with an honest read on what's actually holding your ball striking back.
Reviews from golfers I coach
210 and counting, five stars, from beginners through competitive players.
I had only a month's worth of lessons with Mark and due to his coaching I improved my game by 18 strokes. He is competent, patient and a very good teacher.
John B.Mark keeps things simple, always positive and absolutely easy to be around. He has been amazing at helping me build my confidence. He is a strong pro golfer but is patient, friendly and can zero right in on the areas that will help your game.
Lisa P.Mark is an exceptional golf instructor who combines deep knowledge of the game with an ability to break down complex techniques into simple, actionable steps. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to elevate their game.
Lakshya P.Mark is a great coach. Understands the game inside and out, always takes his time to explain things so it makes sense, and always gives me the encouragement I need to shoot well in my competitive rounds.
Tommy W.Mark is very quick to notice what needs work in my swing. He breaks down what I am doing and why it causes bad shots. He goes out of his way to make sure I leave the lesson in a better place than I came.
Matthew K.With his expert guidance and personalized training, I was able to significantly lower my score and improve my confidence on the course. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Lindsey M.Mark is very knowledgeable and has a very effective teaching approach. Lessons with him are always fun and extremely beneficial. He has improved my swing and made golf enjoyable for me again.
Craig B.About Mark
I'm the Director of Instruction at Elgin Country Club and the founder of Tempo Town Golf Academy. I've delivered thousands of lessons, in person and online, and built an audience of more than 40,000 golfers across platforms who follow the way I teach.
What I kept running into is a problem no lesson solves. A golfer pays for an hour, walks away with good information, and then goes home to practice it wrong for three weeks. The instruction was never the bottleneck. Being alone with it was.
So I coach differently. When I give you a plan, you send me video of yourself doing it, most days, and I watch it. That's the whole difference. You're not guessing whether you're doing the drill right, and I'm not waiting a month to find out you weren't.
It's why I can stand behind the 30-Day the way I do. If you do the work and send the videos and you haven't improved, I keep coaching you for free until you have.

Common questions about online golf coaching
Do online golf lessons actually work?
They work better than most in-person lessons for one reason: frequency. A lesson gives you one hour of eyes on your swing. Online coaching gives me eyes on your practice almost every day for a month. Slow-motion video shows me more than watching in real time does, and catching a bad rep on day three instead of week six is the whole difference.
What do I need to film my swing?
Your phone and something to lean it on. No launch monitor, no special camera. If you're in the 30-Day program I ship you a tripod. You can film at a range, in a net, in a simulator bay or in your yard.
How much do online golf lessons cost?
The Personalized Practice Blueprint is $197, the 14-Day Swing Transformation is $497, and the 30-Day Swing Transformation is $797. A free swing analysis costs nothing if you want an honest read on your swing before committing to anything.
How quickly do I get feedback?
Check-ins in the 30-Day program are reviewed daily. You send your reps, I watch them and come back with what to change. You're never sitting on a question for a week.
What if I don't improve?
If you follow the plan, send your videos and we haven't clearly moved the needle in thirty days, I keep coaching you at no additional cost until we do. There is no version of this where you do the work and stay the same.
Do you teach in person too?
Yes. I'm the Director of Instruction at Elgin Country Club in Elgin, Illinois, and I teach individual lessons, group instruction and AimPoint green reading there. If you're in the northwest Chicago suburbs, see the in-person page for rates and booking.
What golfers do you work with?
Everyone from beginners who have never had a lesson through competitive junior and adult players. The plan is built around your swing and your goals, so the program is the same but the work inside it isn't.
